Plagne-Montalbert

Le Coeur des Cimes is located in the heart of the small traditional mountain village of Plagne-Montalbert right next to the slopes and very close to the ski lifts that take you to the rest of the large 450km Paradiski ski domain. There are currently two restaurants and two ski shops in the village. It is located at the edge of a forest, at an altitude of 1350m with 70% of its slopes above 2,000m and a glacier at 3,000m ensuring that you always have good skiing available throughout the winter. Three resorts are linked by the largest cable car in the world: The Vanoise Express connects the mountain resorts in Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne in just 4 minutes at 45 km/h over a distance of 1,824 m without pylons, in the utmost comfort and complete silence. Other winter activities include ice climbing, toboganning, telemarking and other snow sports. In the summer you have lots of other activities available like white water rafting, paragliding, pony trekking, mountain biking, hiking, swimming in the lake and more. The area contains 11 village-stations: Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne Centre, Plagne Villages, Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecôte, Belle-Plagne, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Montalbert, Montchavin, Les Coches, Champagny-en-Vanoise.
