Courchevel Le Praz

Courchevel Le Praz is situated at 1300m altitude and is where the ski lifts start that connect you to the rest of Courchevel, Meribel and indeed the rest of the Three Valleys ski zone with its 600km of slopes. It is an authentic and charming apline village with its narrow streets, cosy bars and restaurants (including one which is Michemin starred) in a quieter part of the ski resort but still with quick access to the larger villages or Courchevel 1650 and 1850. These can be accessed using the Le Praz bubble lift (reaches 1850 in 6 minutes) or using the free bus (both). The village has a local butcher, cheese & dairy cooperative, patisserie, small supermarket and a newsagents plus ski shops.
