Les fabuleuses villes de La Rochelle et de Bordeaux et les îles de Ré et d'Oléron sont à une courte distance en voiture et les stations balnéaires de Royan et de St Palais sont à 8 km et 4 km respectivement. L'accès est facile avec une gare Tgv à La Rochelle, une gare ferroviaire à Royan, des lignes de bus régulières vers St Augustin. L'aéroport de La Rochelle est à moins d'une heure et celui de Bordeaux à une heure et demie.

Prendre la D145 qui traverse Saint-Augustin et tourner dans la rue de la Bessure. La Foret d'Armotte est au numéro 18 de la rue de la Bessure.

Trains réguliers jusqu'à la gare de Royan et bus de là à Saint Augustin. Trains TGV de Paris à La Rochelle ou Bordeaux et trains de là à Royan.
