The great selection of local restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops also ensure that you are never bored here. It is an area well worth visiting if you have never been before.

The fabulous towns of La Rochelle and Bordeaux and the islands of Ile de Re and Ile d'Oleron are a short drive away and the seaside resorts of Royan and St Palais are 8km and 4km away respectively. Access is easy with a Tgv station at La Rochelle, a train station at Royan, regular bus routes to St Augustin while La Rochelle airport is under an hour away and Bordeaux just an hour and a half away.
